Today crews responded to a working structure fire in Oakland District section of Weirton. Engine 4711 was requested for RIT (rapid intervention team) but was later assigned to overhaul when the fire was contained.

Huge thank you to resident Austin Chambers for donating his skill, time, and materials to weld a hitch onto rescue 34. This will be used to deploy the departments rehab trailer.

Today crews attended a kick ball tournament at Jim Woods Park in Steubenville along with Steubenville Firefighters Local 228

Crews have been busy today with multiple calls. This included storm related incidents. In between the calls crews took time to give some much needed TLC to the station.

Today the department held it’s annual EMS appreciation picnic. On and off duty crews and their families gathered for good food and good company!

Over the past few days crews have worked on freshening up the Firefighter Memorial in town. Fresh paint, New mulch, and New Flags. Just in time for Memorial Day!
