šŸ‚ Punkin season is almost here in Minersvilleā€¦ and weā€™re getting ready at the library too! šŸ‚

September is bringing some changes and some new fun to Minersville Public Library!

šŸ“š Weā€™ll have new fall library hours, weekly Childrenā€™s Reading & Crafts, a special Teen After Hours night, a cozy Childrenā€™s Pajama Reading Night, and a little Punkin Fest fun happening throughout the month.

Weā€™re starting small, trying out some new activities, and looking forward to adding more as we see what our community enjoys. ā¤ļø

And we may even be growing a little Punkin Patch of our ownā€¦ šŸŒ±

Hello, everyone!

I'm Heather Smith, the new Library Director at the Minersville Library, and I could not be more excited to be here! My husband and I recently made Minersville our home after moving here in March from Texas, and we have already fallen in love with this wonderful community. While I have met a few, I am looking forward to meeting more of you and becoming a part of everything that makes this town so special.

Many of you have already met my wonderful Library Assistant, Brittney, and together we are excited to welcome you to the library.

Over the next few weeks, keep an eye on our page for updates about new programs and activities we're hoping to bring to the library, including a Teen Book Club, a Senior Morning Mingle, and children's story time.

We will also be sharing information about some upcoming changes to the library hours.

We are looking forward to making the library a fun, welcoming place for readers of all ages, and we can't wait to share what's ahead. Thank you for the warm welcome- we're excited for this new chapter together.
