🍀🚔✨ A St. Patrick’s Day Message from the Minersville Borough Police Department ✨🚔🍀

💚🌈🪙 The luck of the Irish is great… but good decisions are better! As you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in our community, the Minersville Borough Police Department would like to share a few shamrock-solid reminders:

🍺🍀 IF YOU’RE DRINKING…
🚫🍀 Don’t drive.
📱🚕 Call a sober friend, rideshare, or taxi.
🛋️🏠 Stay over where you are.
🧠💡 “I’m fine to drive” has never impressed anyone in handcuffs.

🚦🚗 TRAFFIC TIP TUESDAY:
🟢 Green lights = GO
🔴 Red lights = STOP
🚔 Red & Blue lights = Pull over (not part of the decorations)

🍻😅 THINGS THAT ARE NOT LUCKY:
❌ DUI charges
❌ Testing your Irish step dancing skills in traffic
❌ Trying to convince us you’re “Irish for the day” as a legal defense

💧🥨 PRO TIPS FROM YOUR LOCAL LEPRECHAUN PATROL:
💧 Alternate water with your green beverages
🥪 Eat before you celebrate
👫 Stick with your friends
📱 Plan your ride BEFORE you head out

👮‍♂️👮‍♀️ Officers from the Minersville Borough Police Department will be out and about to ensure everyone enjoys the holiday safely. Our goal?
✔️ Fun celebrations
✔️ Safe roadways
✔️ Everyone makes it home

Let’s keep the shenanigans fun — not felonious.
Stay safe, Minersville! 🍀💚🚔

🚔⏰ **Daylight Saving Time Is Here!** ⏰🚔

Just a friendly reminder…

Tonight we all spring forward one hour for Daylight Saving Time. That means you’ll lose an hour of sleep… but gain an extra hour of daylight to do important things like complain about losing that hour of sleep.😴

Think of it this way:
When you set your clocks forward tonight, you’ll already be one hour closer to Friday.

While you’re adjusting your clocks, take a minute to:
✅Check the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
✅Turn on your porch lights
✅Make sure your doors and vehicles are locked

And remember… if you forget to change your clock and show up early to work tomorrow, we promise we won’t write you a ticket for speeding through time.

Stay safe and enjoy the extra daylight! 🌞

💔 Roses are red, violets are blue…
👀 If your ex has a warrant, we’re looking for them too.

This Valentine’s Day, we’re helping you clean up more than just your relationship status.

Why settle for chocolates, when you could give us their location?

Did your former flame:

• Ghost you AND court?
• Block your number but not their probation officer?
• Say “it’s not you, it’s me” … and then skip their hearing?

Don’t worry. We love a good reunion. 🚔

No drama. No awkward text. Just justice.

💕 Turn in your ex.

Before the day is over, we’d liked to take a moment and remember the events that occurred on this date 84 years ago.

December 7th, 1941 - “A date which will live in infamy”

Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japanese fighter pilots.

A total of 2,403 people died including 2,335 service members and 68 civilians, with the USS Arizona suffering the heaviest losses (1,177 dead). The attack also resulted in over 1,100 wounded.

Today we remember and honor those lives lost on that fateful day.

Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!!
