Mineral Wells Center of Life is a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to helping break the cycle of poverty in Palo Pinto county by helping others become self-sufficient through faith, education, and mentoring solutions. The Center recognizes that poverty goes beyond financial resources but is based in broken relationships. Mineral Wells Center of Life seeks to help people restore relationships wit

h God , self, others, and the rest of creation. By helping people find or rediscover their talents, gifts, and God's plan for their life a sense of self-worth is found and empowers people to be all God has created them to be. Mineral Wells Center of Life helps with temporary physical assistance, but seeks to go beyond to long-term solutions. Those seeking help are mentored to discover what resources they have and the underlying causes of their need. We get personally involved in clients' lives and help them find a way out of the cycle of poverty. Mineral Wells Center of Life seeks to work with area churches and organizations to make a real difference. Whatever the need we seek to find the resources and to guide clients through the process to find the solution. The Center seeks donations of money, educational equipment and supplies, facilities, and other items as needed to meet the needs of the people of Palo Pinto county. Mineral Wells Center of Life is recognized as a tax exempt non-profit public charity under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and as such is qualified to receive deductible gifts. We have had such an outpouring of love and generosity from our community that we are running out of space! Thank you all so much for your support and donations.

At this time, we are asking that donations be limited to food items only. Due to our storage areas being completely full, we are temporarily unable to accept clothing donations.

We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to serve those in need.

MWCoL is currently hiring for both Seasonal Part-Time and Full-Time positions in our Resale Shop!

Seasonal Part-Time Position
We're looking for dependable, friendly individuals to help during our busy season.

Responsibilities may include:
Assisting customers
Sorting and organizing merchandise
Stocking shelves and displays
Operating the cash register
Maintaining a clean and welcoming shop environment

Full-Time Resale Shop Position

Seeking a motivated team member for a full-time role with responsibilities that include:
Customer service and sales
Receiving, pricing, and displaying merchandise
Inventory organization and management
Cash handling and register operations
Keeping the shop clean, organized, and attractive
Assisting with daily store operations

Requirements
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work with the public
Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed
Retail experience is a plus, but not required

We are hiring a Client Facilitator!

We are looking for someone compassionate, patient, organized, and willing to go above and beyond to help others.

Responsibilities include:
• Assisting clients with Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, IDs, driver’s license renewals, birth certificates, and other important documentation
• Helping clients navigate resources and community services
• Scheduling appointments and transportation
• Following up with clients and maintaining accurate records
• Answering phones and assisting at the front desk
• Updating client charts, monthly reports, receipts, and benevolence spreadsheets
• Supporting other departments as needed

Qualifications:
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic computer and Microsoft Excel knowledge
• Ability to multitask and problem solve
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate attitude

Our heart goes out to all of those affected by the tornado.

We sincerely appreciate all of the donors that trusted our organization with the stewardship of funds to Palo Pinto County residents affected by the tornado.

We are blown away at the generosity of Woody's Bar & Grill for their fundraising campaign and financial support.

We are so grateful for the partnership with United Way Of PPC and for assisting with the vetting of those affected by the tornado.
