Sleepovers can be fun, but a few simple conversations before and after can help kids feel more comfortable speaking up.
Before they go, ask about the plan. Make sure they know they can call you, come home, or leave a situation that feels wrong.
Afterward, keep it casual. Ask about what they did, who they spent time with, what games they played, and whether there was anything they didnโt like.
You donโt have to ask everything at once. The goal is simply to make it easy for your child to talk to you. ๐
