New Town Website

In January the town board decided to update and improve the town website to allow residents to stay informed and updated by getting notifications sent to their email and/or cell phone. Notifications will be sent for newly scheduled meetings, events and alerts. The new website is now online.

The old website at townofmineralpointwi.com is still active, but will soon automatically redirect you to the new website.

The new website is easier to navigate and easier for us to upload information to it. We hope to get the town ordinances, permits, forms, and past agendas and minutes uploaded in the near future.

Please be aware that the caucus is this Thursday on the 9th at 6:30 pm. The notice in last week's paper was incorrect.

The tax bills should be mailed early this week once we get them from the county. The assessments took a little longer to get to us this year due to the town reassessment.

Mineral Point township was something I took a lot of pride in maintaining for the last four years. I believe I left it better than I found it! Unfortunately like a lot of times, good things come to an end. September 26th will be my last day serving as the MP Patrolman. I will be doing the same job I am now, just for some folks a little north of us in Dodgeville Township. As I’m sad to leave I’m also excited for the new challenge. Thank you to all for the last 4 years!
