Congratulations to Ryan Nicol on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, Scouting’s highest honor. As the 143rd Eagle Scout from Troop 690 of Seaford, Ryan has demonstrated outstanding leadership, dedication, and service to his community.

For his Eagle Scout project, Ryan assembled 48 backpacks filled with school supplies for students in need across Long Island, helping young people start the school year prepared for success.

Congratulations to the Seaford and Wantagh Girl Scouts who were recognized for earning their Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards. Through countless hours of service, these remarkable young women have completed projects that have strengthened our communities, supported those in need, and made a lasting impact.

It was a pleasure to celebrate their achievements alongside their families, troop leaders, and community supporters. Their dedication, leadership, and commitment to service are truly inspiring, and I know they have bright futures ahead.

Rain or shine, I was grateful to join the Levittown community in honoring and remembering the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. It was inspiring to see so many veterans, families, students, marching bands, and community organizations lining the streets in tribute this Memorial Day.
