I was delighted to attend the Nassau Lawyers' Association Dinner Dance Tuesday evening at the beautiful Crest Hollow Country Club.
The evening celebrated the Honorable William Gitelman Award recipients and brought together members of Nassau County’s legal community for a wonderful night of recognition, camaraderie, and celebration.

Last week, our office attended the Nassau County Veterans Stand Down at Mitchel Field, where we had the opportunity to inform veterans about recording DD-214 forms at our office and joining the Veterans Recognition Program, as well as Veterans Treatment Court and the Property Fraud Alert Program. We are grateful to connect with and support those who have served our country, and we thank the Nassau County Veterans Service Agency for hosting this important event.

What a fantastic time at the annual corned beef cook-off at The Milleridge, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!

I had the honor of serving as a judge for this great event, all in support of the Gabby Petito Foundation and its mission to raise awareness and stand up against domestic violence. The energy, the community spirit, and the purpose behind it all made it truly special.

A big congratulations to Hempstead Town Supervisor John Ferretti for taking home the top prize. The competition was tough and the flavors did not disappoint!

I had the pleasure of attending the 30th Annual Irish-Americans in Government Luncheon at the Garden City Hotel this past Friday and breaking bread with fellow Irish-Americans and many who are Irish in spirit.

More than 450 people came together to celebrate Irish-American heritage while raising funds for local charities, Irish heritage organizations, and the Irish-Americans in Government scholarship program. It was a wonderful afternoon of friendship, tradition, and great conversation. ☘️

The Office of the Nassau County Clerk will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, February 12th, in observance of the County holiday, Lincoln’s Birthday.

We will reopen for regular business hours on Friday, February 13th.

I am truly honored to begin my 6th term as Nassau County Clerk! Being sworn in by the Honorable Justice Francis Ricigliano, Supervising Judge of the Supreme Court of Nassau County, was a memorable moment. Congratulations to Elaine Phillips, our County Comptroller, and Bruce Blakeman, our County Executive, on being sworn inaugurated for their 2nd terms. I’m grateful for the trust of our community and look forward to continuing to serve the residents of Nassau County with dedication and care.

I was honored to be the guest speaker at the Williston Park Senior meeting yesterday at Clinton G. Martin Park in New Hyde Park. I spoke in depth about the Property Fraud Alert program, a FREE service offered by the Nassau County Clerk’s Office to help protect homeowners. It was a pleasure spending time with local seniors; these conversations are an important part of ensuring residents have the tools they need to stay informed and protected.
