🏡🏡 Bringing Property Tax Relief Straight to Our Veterans and Homeowners!
Navigating property tax exemptions shouldn't be a hassle. That’s why we were proud to team up with the New York State Division of Veterans' Services and the Town of North Hempstead Receiver of Taxes to host a collaborative Homeowner & Veteran Exemption Program workshop!

By bringing state, county, and town resources directly into the community, our goal was to make filing for exemptions like STAR, senior citizen credits, and crucial veteran exemptions as simple and accessible as possible.

Thank you to everyone who came out to meet directly with our agency partners, ask questions, and get hands-on assistance filling out their applications. Ensuring our local families and those who served our country get the financial relief they’ve earned is a top priority.

It was an absolute honor to attend the Floral Park FD Junior Firefighter Swearing-In Ceremony! 🚒✨

Huge congratulations to these outstanding young individuals as they officially begin their journey of service and dedication to our community. Stepping up to volunteer takes real character, and it is incredible to witness the next generation answering the call.

A massive thank-you to the Floral Park Fire Department and all of the dedicated mentors who guide, support, and inspire these future firefighters every step of the way.

Wishing all of our new junior firefighters the very best as they embark on this exciting and impactful chapter!

Keeping our communities safe takes dedication, teamwork, and outstanding police work and Detectives Kyle Fico and Michael Keane exemplify all three.
As the Nassau County Legislature’s July Top Cops, they are being recognized for leading a complex investigation that dismantled a burglary operation responsible for multiple commercial break-ins and vehicle thefts across Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Their relentless efforts helped bring a repeat offender to justice and prevented future crimes from victimizing local businesses and residents.
Congratulations to two detectives whose commitment to public safety makes Nassau County a safer place to live, work, and raise a family. Thank you for your exceptional service!

Strauss, it was great to join the Floral Park Fire Department and Councilman Tom Muscarella to honor Ex-Captain William O'Hagan and Ex-Captain William Lauria, IId for their service to the Floral Park Fire Department and to the Incorporated Village of Floral Park, New York and surrounding communities.

What an incredible evening at Eisenhower Park for our annual Italian American Night at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre! As a proud Italian-American, it was an absolute honor to spend the evening celebrating our rich heritage, culture, and deep roots here in Nassau County. From the beautiful music filling the night air to the incredible community spirit, it was a perfect reminder of what makes our community so special. A massive thank you to the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America (OSDIA) - Grand Lodge of New York for putting together such a spectacular event. Your tireless work to preserve our heritage, support local charities, and foster strong community bonds is inspiring. Thank you to everyone who came out with their lawn chairs, blankets, and dancing shoes to make it a night to remember!
