Cha Thai "Library Cat" -Douglas County Public Library, NV Library Cat reading and writing program aimed at children in the second and third grades.

Cha Thai was adopted from a shelter on September 16, 2021.She is classified as a grey tabby cat. She is now 2 1/2 years...

Cha Thai was adopted from a shelter on September 16, 2021.
She is classified as a grey tabby cat. She is now 2 1/2 years old.
She loves kids and visiting the library.
She wants to know about every kid, feel free to write her a note.

Her human servant is library director Tim DeGhelder.

The Douglas County Public Library wants to get involved with students who love to read and write.

We hope to work with Douglas County Public School District starting in 2023.

There will be class writing assignments throughout the school year.

However, any school class can write to Cha Thai.
