Clackamas County has a shuttle service that makes a stop at the Milwaukie Community Center. Check out the routes by clicking on the link to the website.

The Clackamas County Connects shuttle service (ClackCo) provides a vital connection to our rural communities and areas that are hard to get to by public transit. These shuttles help relieve congestion on county roads and they will provide critical, last-mile connections between services provided by regional transit.

The shuttles are a free “deviated fixed-route” service. Can’t make it to the main bus stop or route? Call in advance 971-358-0623 to make arrangements and check availability to be picked up or dropped off within ¾ mile from the route. You may also signal/flag the bus to get on or off the bus in between stops. The two shuttle services fill gaps from TriMet stops to underserved portions of Oregon City and the Clackamas Industrial Area.

North Clackamas Aquatic Park is closed Aug. 24–Oct. 2 for our annual maintenance closure.

During this time, our team will be working behind the scenes on cleaning, repairs, and routine maintenance to help keep the Aquatic Park safe, clean, and ready for another year of fun.

Thanks for your patience and we’ll be ready to welcome you back when we reopen!

As Oregon students and families prepare for a new school year, we're remembering Dolly Parton and the remarkable legacy she leaves behind.

Dolly was a champion of literacy, and through her Imagination Library, thousands of Oregon children can receive a free book every month from birth to age five. Her support helps children develop a love of reading long before their first day of school.

Thank you, Dolly, for the lasting impact you've had on generations of young readers.

SCAM ALERT: Received a phone call stating that you missed jury duty and a bond is required to avoid arrest? SCAM, hang up.

While we do not encourage store employees to intervene in a persons purchasing matters, over the past week due to aware and concerned retail employees alerting police, three patrons were saved from continuing to pay scammers engaged in this fraud. Shout out to them reaching out for our assistance and stopping further mischief.

If you are unsure about a caller who claims to be law enforcement or the court, verify their agency affiliation (Milwaukie Police, other government enforcement agency..) and request a call back number. If they provide you with one that is not a general or dispatch number, call the general or non-emergency dispatch number for that agency and verify their purpose for the call.

Scammers can be very convincing. You will not be called due to missing jury duty and required to pay a fee over the phone, period.

Share this message with friends and family you believe may be vulnerable to such foul play.
