Milwaukie Community Center The Milwaukie Center is a multi-purpose facility that plays host to a number of programs, services and events for people of all ages and abilities.

The Milwaukie Center, operated by North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District, serves as a focal point for North Clackamas residents and visitors. Community events and private gatherings happen frequently at the Milwaukie Center. Visitors enjoy the one-acre Sara Hite Memorial Rose Garden, picnic facilities and ball fields located in adjacent North Clackamas Park.

Mah Jongg is a highly popular, tile-based strategy game that encourages social connection and cognitive health. The Milwaukie Community Center has two Mah Jongg groups.

American Mah Jongg: Mah Jongg originated in China as a game of skill, strategy, and chance. Please bring your current American Mah Jongg card. If interested in learning, please contact [email protected].
Fee: NCPRD, $2; non-resident, $2.50
Time/Date: 12:30-3:30 p.m. Wednesdays

Chinese Mah Jongg: The game’s objective is to be the first to Mah Jongg where all your tiles form four sets, plus one pair. If interested in learning, contact [email protected].

There are two ukulele jam groups which meet at the Milwaukie Community Center. 9:30-11 a.m. Thursdays and 6-7:15 p.m. the 1st and 3rd Thursdays.
