What are you doing on October 11th? We’d love you to join us in Milwaukee at Urban Harvest Brewing Company. Service Year Alliance is bringing together service year champions from across the region for an evening to socialize, share our powerful stories of service, and learn how we can join together to build the service year movement.

Service Year Alliance is an organization relentlessly pursuing a bold vision — making a year of service a common expectation and opportunity for all young Americans as a way to tackle important community challenges while transforming their own lives.
Each of us has a story that can inspire others to action. We can’t wait to hear yours!

Today President Obama hosted the 8th Annual White House Tribal Nations Conference. As an all-of-government approach to serving Indian Country, AmeriCorps will invest a record $3.5 million in tribal sponsored AmeriCorps programs and $1.25 million in education scholarships.
