Alyssa! πŸ™‚πŸŽ“

Kai Anderson retired from the Milwaukee Police Department after 25 years of service and was part of the Wellness Team. Unfortunately Kai passed away from cancer shortly after retirement in 2022. One of our emotional support K-9's, "KAI" was named in his honor after a survey was put out generating the highest response in the department history.

This past week Alyssa Anderson, daughter of Kai & Luann Anderson, graduated from Lake Country Luthern High School. Milwaukee Police Department Ofc. Kandler, KAI's handler, and KAI were invited to attend.

Ofc. Kandler would like to thank the following people for welcoming her and KAI and making it possible for them to attend on Alyssa's special day:

School Counselor Diane Jakubowski (who got approval from) former Principal Kathryn Baganz and Current Principal Zach Bickel.
