Dear friends and supporters,

With regards to the role of G1 at Bradford Beach, we have submitted a lease termination agreement to Milwaukee County Parks. Once agreed upon, the termination would be effective immediately.

G1 has been involved with the resurrection of Bradford Beach for the past 15 years. This included many of the familiar programs including sports leagues, special events and daily services. A majority of which were not previously available or had not been for an extended period of time.

We wish to thank our customers, sponsors and supporters. The entire idea was to rehabilitate a public space that had gone neglected for many years.

The goals that were set - all of which were met - changed the perception of Bradford Beach on a local, regional and national level. We did this by providing lifestyle activity in the most safe, clean and responsible manner possible.

Granted, there was always room for improvement and we tried to always do our best. We are proud of what was accomplished given the fact that we literally started with nothing more than a single volleyball net, some friends and the drive to want the space to be better.

The 4th Annual Winter Calcutta is in the books and once again, it was another great event.

Congratulations to James Hutterer, Dave Dettmann, Nathan Tiedt and Candace McNally for grinding through and winning a tough event.

Thank you to Kelly's Bleachers 2 for being our gracious hosts.

Thank you to my staff Jesse Gumm, Mike Glass and Kerri Schuh. No way I can do this without you.

And most importantly, thank you to all the players, my teammates for the event Nate Bublitz, Cindy Simons and Jacqueline Whelan for reassuring my thoughts that the Calcutta is the best event we have ever offered. The event will continue because of you.

Summer Calcutta will be held at the new Kelly's Bleachers Grill in Big Bend the end of July or beginning of August. Date should be announced soon.
