Help your child get the scoop on writing skills

What can you do with your child when there is nothing to do? Improve his writing skills! Pretend you are reporters stalking a story for your local paper. Armed with notepads and pens, set out to observe people making “news” at the mall, the park or in your front yard. Write your story up together. Include a headline and bylines. When it’s finished, put your story in a scrapbook to enjoy in days to come.

Tonight is going to be a fun night at River Trail! It's Nachos and Numbers!

What is this fun event? We will be coming together in our cafeteria and engaging in interactive learning activities to strengthen all of our math skills. There will be activities for all of our students in K4-8th grade. Excitement for the whole family! BONUS- we will be serving FREE nachos! Double BONUS- we will be raffling off prizes!

The event starts at 5:30 and goes until 7:00. We hope to see lots of our families come out for this exciting event!

Thursday, October 29, 2015 is PICTURE DAY! The forms are coming home today. Please check your student’s backpack for the Lifetouch form. Money and the form will need to be turned in on Thursday!
