Youth Opportunities for Nursing Diversity,” assists nursing students through:

• a preparation program prior to admittance beginning courses at the university
• experiential leadership development
• tutoring, study groups, and academic resources
• professional nurse mentoring
• membership in professional nursing organizations
• access to professional nursing meetings
• intern/extern employment possibilities
• volunteer opportunities
• special events and family programming
• preparation support for the state board exam
