Nursing students will join a community of support.

Marquette University College of Nursing’s Project BEYOND seeks to encourage students from underrepresented and disadvantaged groups to pursue a rewarding career in professional nursing. Marquette University College of Nursing’s Project BEYOND supports students from, minority and underrepresented groups to achieve their goal of having a successful career in nursing. Project BEYOND “Building Ethnic Youth Opportunities for Nursing Diversity,” assists nursing students through:

• a preparation program prior to admittance beginning courses at the university
• experiential leadership development
• tutoring, study groups, and academic resources
• professional nurse mentoring
• membership in professional nursing organizations
• access to professional nursing meetings
• intern/extern employment possibilities
• volunteer opportunities
• special events and family programming
• preparation support for the state board exam
