We were honored to welcome our friends from Northwestern Mutual for a visit to the Center for Urban Teaching’s (CfUT) Summer School at St. Marcus School, one of CfUT’s 20 Summer School sites. The visit provided a firsthand look at how our organizations work together to strengthen education in Milwaukee and highlighted the impact of our longstanding partnership. We were delighted to welcome Jeannie Fenceroy, senior portfolio manager of education at the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, to the Center for Urban Teaching’s (CfUT) Summer School. During her visit, she saw our Science of Reading instruction in action and the ways aspiring teachers are building the knowledge and skills to help every child become a confident reader.
