Firearm safety relies on three primary, universal rules: treat every gun as loaded, keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot, and never point the muzzle at anything you are not willing to destroy.
⚠️These habits, along with secure storage and proper training, are essential for preventing accidents. ⚠️
➡️Fundamental Rules of Safe Gun Handling
🟣Treat All Guns as Loaded: Even if you think it is unloaded, treat it as if it is not.
🟣Safe Muzzle Direction: Keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction at all times, such as downrange or at the ground.
🟣Finger Off the Trigger: Keep your trigger finger straight and outside the trigger guard until you are ready to fire.
🟣Target Identification: Be certain of your target and what lies beyond it before shooting.

🟣Store Locked Up: Store fi****ms unloaded and locked, using cable locks or gun safes, especially to keep them out of reach of children.
🟣Separate Storage: Store ammunition separately from the firearm in a locked location.
🟣Unload in Transmit: Transport fi****ms unloaded and in a secured case.
