Did Wisconsin voters in your area choose to subsidize the funding for public schools in your local area during the April 2026 election by voting for the proposed referendum? Check out this map to find out.

"Voters approved more than 60% of school district referendums last week as schools face declining enrollment, rising inflation and stagnant state funding.

Over $1 billion in referendums from 73 school districts were on the ballot Tuesday. Wisconsin voters passed 46 out of 75 school referendums, totaling over $564 million in increased property taxes.

The resulting 61% passage rate is below the 70% average from 2020 to 2025 but slightly above last year’s 56%."

Wisconsin school districts are forced to go to referendums to properly fund their public schools because the last state budget "deal" failed our public schools.

Ask every candidate running for Governor and the state Legislature if they will tax the wealthy and corporations to properly fund Wisconsin's public schools.

Fusion voting allows two or more political parties to be listed on a ballot while endorsing the same candidate.

This option gives voters a chance to support a major candidate while simultaneously displaying their divergence from that candidate's party or simply a preference to vote for that candidate on a ballot line that represents their own political party affiliation, such as, the Working Families Party.

Law Forward moves to strike down Wisconsin’s fusion voting ban, calling 1897 law a partisan power grab that violates the state constitution.

Taylor’s victory on Tuesday means progressives are set to control the court’s majority through at least 2030.

According to WISPOLITICS, "This blowout was about as big as they come in Wisconsin. In a state where elections are routinely decided by a single percentage point or less, a victory like Taylor’s is something you just don’t see very often...

A decade ago, when conservatives held a Supreme Court majority that felt like it could last forever, they owed much of their success to suburban voters, especially in the vaunted “WOW” counties of Waukesha, Ozaukee and Washington.

On Tuesday, Ozaukee County went blue, a milestone in Wisconsin politics. Ozaukee is the smallest of the three WOW counties and has been slowly trending blue in court races and other statewide contests.

Notably, Waukesha County, the biggest of the three, also veered in liberals’ direction, with Taylor winning 46 percent of the vote and Lazar winning just 54 percent."

MADISON, Wis. — Yesterday, WPR reported on Democrats’ massive win in Tuesday night’s Supreme Court election, highlighting how Republicans lost ground in their reliable conservative counties while Democrats increased their margins in their strongholds. Judge Chris Taylor’s win set a recor...
