This year’s Monster Mash will be held Thursday, October 29th, from 6–8 PM at Mitchell School!

Just like years past, there will be games, dancing, concessions, and of course… RAFFLE BASKETS!

We highly encourage everyone to preregister for admission AND prepay for raffle tickets to help make check-in go as smoothly as possible. Visit our Givebacks Store to do so today! Additional raffle tickets will also be available for purchase the night of the event.

Because Monster Mash is one of our biggest events of the year, we are releasing the Signup Genius link early! A HUGE thank you to everyone who submitted a Room Parent form this year! We are so grateful for all of the families who volunteered to help support our classrooms. Emails are starting to go out this week to those who have been selected, so please keep an eye on your inbox! 📧

Our Next Restaurant Fundraiser Night is Tuesday, October 13th Qdoba on Hwy 100 from 4-8pm. Keep an eye out for flyers coming home soon with more information!

🌈 A HUGE THANK YOU, MITCHELL COMMUNITY! 🌈

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire Mitchell community for coming out to the Color Run last night! With all the brightly colored shirts, colorful faces, and BIG smiles, it was clear that everyone had an absolute blast—and we certainly did too! 💙💛💚🩷

A special thank-you to Kona Ice for the delicious treats! They were definitely a huge hit! 🍧

We are also incredibly grateful to our wonderful volunteers for their time, energy, and support of the Mitchell PTA. Your dedication helps make these fun experiences possible for our students and families, and we couldn’t do it without you! ❤️

We can’t wait to see you all at our next event in October… 👻🎃 THE MONSTER MASH! 🎃👻

🎨🏃‍♀️ COLOR RUN REMINDER! 🏃‍♂️🎨

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is the Color Run from 5–7 PM on the lower playground! We can’t wait to see everyone there! Here are a few important things to note:

1️⃣ Online preregistration closes TONIGHT at 9 PM! Walk-up registration will be available tomorrow starting at 5 PM.

2️⃣ Preordered T-shirts: If you ordered a Color Run T-shirt, it will be given to you when you check in. The Fieldhouse restrooms will be open if you need a place to change. If you didn’t buy a t-shirt, that’s ok! Any white or light colored shirt will work great to show the colors as you run by the Color Blasters!

3️⃣ The Run: We will begin the actual Color Run around 5:40 PM, so make sure you’re checked in and ready to go!

4️⃣ Food & Treats: 🍧 Kona Ice will be there with delicious treats available for purchase! We’ll also have light snacks and drinks available at our concession table. Cash is encouraged, but cards will be accepted.

5️⃣ THANK YOU! ❤️ A huge thank you to everyone who has signed up to volunteer and donated items! We truly appreciate your support and everything you do to help make our Color Run such a fun event for our Mitchell families!

Good afternoon! Here are three important deadlines that are happening this week!

👕 Tonight at midnight the window will close to preorder Color Run Tshirts. There will not be any for sale at the run, unfortunately! Registration to just run remains open until Run Time on September 25th!

🍎Room Parent Volunteer Forms are due on Wednesday the 16th! Extra copies are in the Main Office if you need one. Also, it is mandatory that you complete the Volunteer Background Check which is now digital - link is below in the comments. The process has changed so thank you for your patience! We will let you know via email if you are a Room Parent once we receive confirmation that you have been approved!

🖤👕♥️ The 35% off Back-To-School Sale for General Mitchell Spirit Wear is coming to an end on Wednesday the 16th! While the website is available all year long, this sale is not! Definitely worth checking out 🙌 (Website link below in the comments)

🎨🏃‍♀️ IT’S TIME FOR OUR FIRST PTA EVENT OF THE YEAR… THE COLOR RUN! 🏃‍♂️🎨

We’re so excited to kick off the school year with one of our favorite events! 🌈

📄 Color Run registration flyers with preregistration information will be coming home with students between today and tomorrow.

👕 NEW THIS YEAR — COLOR RUN T-SHIRTS!
We are offering the option to purchase a Color Run T-shirt to wear during the event! (See the picture below! 👇)

Interested in a T-shirt? Please make sure you register no later than Monday, September 14th and indicate the T-shirt size for each child you are registering.

🏃 Just want to run? No problem! You can register to participate without purchasing a T-shirt and have your child wear a shirt of your choice. We will accept registrations up until the time of the race, but preregistration is preferred!

🍧 Kona Ice will be joining us!
The Kona Ice Truck will be at the event with yummy, cold sweet treats available for purchase, along with other concessions!

🙋‍♀️ WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We’re looking for volunteers and donations to help make this year’s Color Run a huge success! Every bit of help makes a difference!
