About Us

AWPC was specifically created to provide homeowners and businesses water quality testing. In order to guarantee that the water quality is fit for consumption, it is crucial to get water quality testing done on water system regularly. Homeowners relying on well water, specifically, must make sure they are testing their water as wells go unregulated by a municipality. This often results in an increase in higher concentrations of all kinds of elements within the well (ex: radium, arsenic).

In recent years, it has become common to find various water contaminants at high levels in our drinking water systems. The only way to be sure the water we consume is fit is to test it. With the rise of lead levels in Milwaukee’s piping systems, (according to City of Milwaukee.Gov), "...about 169,000 water service lines in Milwaukee, 70,000 residential properties and 6,000 commercial properties have lead service lines." AWPC finds this to be unacceptable, and therefore seeks to provide the public with both answers on “what’s in the water” and what they can do to ensure its safety for consumption.
