Welcome to the official page for the Golden Eagle Battalion, Army ROTC. The Golden Eagle Battallion (GEB) is Milwaukee's ROTC program. The five schools in the area are Marquette University, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Parkside, Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE), and Concordia University, the GEB trains college students to lead. As a commissioned officer in the United States Army, former GEB ROTC Cadets

leave college to make a difference in their world. The Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) was established when President Woodrow Wilson signed the National Defense Act of 1916. Since its inception, Army ROTC has provided leadership and military training at schools and universities across the country and has commissioned more than a half million Officers. It is the largest commissioning source in the American military. Army ROTC is one of the most demanding and successful leadership programs in the country. For years, Army ROTC has been creating leaders who go on to rewarding careers in the military and civilian worlds. Army ROTC produces approximately 60 percent of the Second Lieutenants who join the active Army, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard. More than 40 percent of current Active Duty Army General Officers were commissioned through ROTC.

After THREE decades of dedicated service, Peggy Sullivan is officially retiring from the Golden Eagle Battalion at Marquette University.

For over 30 years, Peggy has been the foundation of our program, impacting generations of future Army officers. Through her unwavering commitment, mentorship, and support, she helped guide more than 500 cadets on their journey to becoming Second Lieutenants in the United States Army upon graduation.

The success of the Golden Eagle Battalion is built in part on the countless lives she has touched and the leaders she has helped develop. Her influence will continue to be felt throughout the Army and across the nation for years to come.

Thank you, Peggy, for your extraordinary service, dedication, and legacy. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

This year, the Golden Eagle Battalion partnered with the Masters in Athletic Trainer Students from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.

They conducted 19 total PT sessions across Marquette and UWM campus’ during the Fall/Spring semesters. There were 9x Masters in Athletic Trainer students in this partnership and we thank each one for the opportunity to better the physical fitness of the GEB!

This weekend the Golden Eagle Battalion color guard posted the colors during Opening Weekend for the Milwaukee Brewers! They were out on the field representing the GEB with skill and professionalism. Good job color guard and Go Brewers!!!
