Milwaukee Junior Fire Institute

Milwaukee Junior Fire Institute Milwaukee Fire Department organization to encourage youth in the fire service. Teutonia Ave, at the utility building at the back of the campus.

The Milwaukee Fire Department Junior Fire Institute is a program designed for young adults between the ages of 14 and 20 who are interested in a career in the fire service. We typically meet the first Saturday of the month at the Milwaukee Fire Department training Academy located at 6680 N. While this program is not designed to get you on to the fire department, it is designed to expose young adul

ts to how the fire department works. Students are issued turnout gear, taught about the fire department chain of command, learn about the SCBA and other firefighting equipment. Come check us out to see what we are all about. Additional information can be requested from Lt. Jeff Gauthier at [email protected] or by contacting him directly at 414-788-3270 and leaving a message.
