Illegal dumping has been hitting Milwaukee neighborhoods hard. We started with 10 hidden cameras in known dumping spots and they worked. Now we're expanding to over 100 cameras citywide. Get caught and you're paying $5,000. We're also giving grants to neighborhood groups to deploy cameras in their own communities. Report illegal dumping at 414-286-CITY.

Today we announced the New Illegal Dumping camera program. We are very sure this will help catch Dumpers and fine these bad actors. Together with community partners we will combate this blight.

After 49.5 years of service Special Enforcement Inspector Gary Armstrong retired from the City of Milwaukee. Thank you for the years you dedicated to DNS Milwaukee and to the constituents of the City of Milwaukee. Congratulations Gary we wish you well on your new Journey!
