The 61st Assembly District is a toss up this year and is crucial to flipping the Assembly. The outcome of this election will drastically affect public education in Milwaukee. LuAnn served on school boards for 10 years, was a governance consultant for the Wisconsin Association of School Boards, and the Director of Board Development in Montgomery, Alabama. That makes her the only candidate in this district with a background in education. She cares about kids and recognizes the value of community engagement and partnerships with our public schools.

Support LuAnn and send her to Madison where she will bring real solutions.

Today I submitted my nomination papers to be placed on the ballot for County Clerk this Fall. I am humbled by the overwhelming support I received over the years but especially over the last few weeks! Thank you to all of you who signed and helped circulate my nomination papers, who donated to my campaign, and to everyone who offered words of gratitude and encouragement. As your Milwaukee County Clerk I will continue to provide the highest level of service Milwaukee County residents deserve at the lowest cost to the taxpayer. Most importantly, I will fight to defend our democracy by ensuring that our elections are secure, accurate, and transparent, and that every vote is counted on Election Day!

It's time, friends!

In order for my name to appear on the ballot in August, I need to collect and submit nomination signatures of eligible voters in Milwaukee County. If we’re just one signature short, I won’t be on the ballot.

That’s why my goal is to submit 750 signatures, to make sure we’re safely over the number of valid signatures needed to place my name on the ballot.
