The Tax Cut and Jobs Act, Trump's signature tax law, was never a good deal for Main Street. That law ( section 199A) overwhelmingly benefits businesses with over $1,000,000 in profit, with 51% of all benefits going to those businesses and only 6% of the benefits going to businesses with less than $100K in profit per year. Instead of fixing this provision, the law extends it and heaps even more corporate tax breaks on the nation's largest corporations while cutting healthcare, SNAP, and other basic needs for our communities.

The Republican tax law guts healthcare for entrepreneurs and their employees by taking away Medicaid coverage and ending enhanced premium tax credits for Affordable Care Act marketplace coverage. The government's numbers show that 15 million will lose coverage under this law.
