Thank you to everyone who came out and participated in the Ruck March!

Because of your support and generosity, we were able to donate more than 6,000 pounds of food to the Hunger Task Force. Thank you to Police Officer Isaac KING for planning and making all the arrangements for this event and also sponsored items and bounce houses. This incredible achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of our participants, volunteers, sponsors, and community members.

It was truly inspiring to see law enforcement, the military, and our community come together for such a meaningful cause. The event showcased the strength of our partnerships and the positive impact we can make when we work together.

After the march, families enjoyed a fantastic community celebration featuring food, bounce houses, face painting, games, ice cream for the kids, the Milwaukee Police Department Horses, the Milwaukee Police Band, and the MPD Bomb Squad. Seeing children and families having fun while building connections with our first responders made the day even more special.

Most importantly, it was wonderful to see our community come together, support those in need, and enjoy a great day with friends, family, and neighbors.

Thank you all for making this event such a tremendous success. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

Hi-Mount Community School block party was a wonderful celebration of school ending and summer beginning! Community Partnership Unit Officer LEWIS had children asking to skate with him and also helped a student! Always a great time to engage with the youth in district three!

A heartfelt thank you to Girl Scouts Troop 11386 for their generous donation of stuffed animals to the Milwaukee Police Department District 3.

These special gifts will be handed out to children and families in our community and during the many community events we host throughout the year. Your kindness and thoughtfulness will help bring comfort, smiles, and joy to those we serve.

We truly appreciate your support and commitment to making a positive difference in our community. Together, let's keep spreading kindness, one stuffed animal and one smile at a time! 💙🐻

Join us for our drug free zone block party on Saturday, June 13th from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM for a free community event right next to the park at 2900 W. Clybourn St. Please share to friends and family!

We’ll be serving free hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, and drinks.
Feel free to bring your dance shoes – there will be music and room to dance!
Inflatable bounce houses for the kids to enjoy.
Raffle giveaways every 30 minutes with fun prizes.

P.O. I. KING has purchased basketball courts he would like to raffle to the community as well!!

We will be doing a neighborhood clean-up from 10am-12pm prior to the event!

It’s going to be a great afternoon of food, fun, and family time.

Please join the Milwaukee Police District 3 and the U.S. Army Reserve on June 7, 2026, for our annual Ruck March for Hunger.

This event will include a 3-mile march to the donation drop-off location, where all contributions will be delivered to the Hunger Task Force. Following the drop-off, community activities and family-friendly events will take place in front of Milwaukee Police District 3.

Come out to support the fight against hunger while celebrating community, unity, and togetherness. Donations are welcome and appreciated. Drop sites for nonperishable donations will be at all Milwaukee Police Districts until 06/01/2026.
