Townsend Street School Welcome to the only official page of Townsend Street School Townsend is a beautiful, well-kept school in Milwaukee’s proud Sherman Park neighborhood.

Our instructors create learning environments that help students achieve success. All teachers utilize a standards-based approach to teaching. Students in grades 7 and 8 benefit from a middle school approach with multiple instructors in different academic areas. Townsend School offers small class sizes K5-Grade 3 through the SAGE program. Strong and dedicated business partners support our overall program.

Today is the last day of school. Chromebook return is from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Any 8th graders who did not get their certificates can come during those same hours.

We wish you all a safe and fun summer. We made it through a pandemic and an unusual learning year! Shout out to our Townsend teachers, support staff and students, we did it!!!
