Yesterday was a glorious day to not drive and to spend more time outside. Vision Zero Policy Director Jessica Wineberg biked to the United Community Center Senior Center for a pedestrian safety class en español.

Improved bike infrastructure on Jefferson, the KK River Trail, and Washington made the ride from City Hall safe and beautiful.

Residents are invited to attend the Joint Public Hearing on Mayor Cavalier Johnson's Proposed 2027 Budget on Monday, October 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the Common Council Chamber at City Hall, 200 E. Wells St.

🎄Could your tree become Milwaukee’s next Christmas tree?

The City of Milwaukee is searching for the perfect tree to become the 2026 City Christmas Tree.

A tree in your yard could light up Deer District and become the centerpiece of Milwaukee’s holiday celebration!

We’re accepting nominations now through September 25. Trees must be at least 30 feet tall and located within city limits.

The donors of the winning tree will have a special role in the city’s annual tree lighting ceremony with Mayor Cavalier Johnson.
