I visited Jasher’s Organic Tea House today for their grand opening celebration.

Yesterday our District 14 legislative assistant Terri married her partner, Paul!

Paul is a unionist and Terri is the kind human you interact with each time you contact our office. Together they have helped and served so many Milwaukeeans as they both work to improve the lives of so many in our city.

Congratulations to Paul and Terri and their beautiful daughter Eleanor. All 3 are District 14 constituents and we wish you a future full of love and happiness 💜

Farmers market season is here, and Hunger Task Force is helping older adults access fresh fruits and veggies. Starting on June 1, we are accepting applications from those living in Milwaukee County to receive $25 in vouchers that can be exchanged for healthy foods at farmers markets and community supported agriculture programs.

Vouchers are available on a first come, first served basis!

If you see me in a wine bar at 9am on KK it’s for matcha!!!!

I got to pop in to this amazing pop up - Cafe today to try a High Tide matcha drink.

This is pure ceremonial grade matcha and this drink included coconut water too-all of my faves!

With a gorgeous patio, you can grab a book from the library across the street too!
The pop up is 8-12, M-F at Nonfiction Natural Wines.

Yesterday we stood with Elvira who was recently reunited with her family after being sent to a detention facility by ICE.

I’m so proud of the continued work our Milwaukee Common Council’s ICE OUT package is delivering for our community as we work to make our city welcoming to all at all times.
