A heartfelt thank you to Kathy Benson, founder/owner of Resort Expos, LLC, for presenting a generous $500 donation to the Can-Do Playground fundraising effort during the Annual Delaware Resorts Spring Home Expo at Cape Henlopen High School.

Kathy presented the contribution to Lewes-Rehoboth Beach Rotarian Jack Riddle alongside fellow Rotarians Travis Olszewski and Gerry Smith in support of creating an inclusive playground where children of all abilities can play, connect, and thrive.

A longtime advocate for the power of play, Kathy previously served as PTO President at Shields Elementary School and played a key fundraising role in the successful effort to build the school’s playground — making this gift especially meaningful. Community support like this continues to move the Can-Do Playground vision forward!

Join us for a night out that gives back 💙

On Thursday, April 16th from 5–9PM, dine at Abbott’s Grill at Paynter’s Mill and 15% of your meal will be donated to the Can-Do Playground.

This project is all about creating an inclusive space for children and families of all abilities right here in Sussex County.

Come enjoy great food, support a meaningful cause, and help us bring this playground to life.

⚠️ This event is expected to be busy, so we recommend arriving early.
