Visitors may also tour the Milton Renaissance Foundation Museum of Milton/Visitor’s Center located at 169 Broad St., as well as other historical sites of interest including the Milton Presbyterian Church, The Historic Cedars Cemetery, and more. Milton is home to many small businesses, including restaurants, antiques shops, art gallery, hair salon, auto repair shop, and more; making it the perfect day trip destination. Milton also has several festivals and events during the year. Milton is located on Hwy. 57, along the Dan River and shares a border with Virginia, and about 12 miles from Hyco Lake, NC. It is an easy drive from Danville, South Boston, Roxboro, and Yanceyville.
