Come celebrate America's 250th with a friendly Pie Baking competition at the 4th of July Community Celebration, taking place from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on July, 4, 2026, at Milton Community Park.

Bakers of all ages are invited to submit their best homemade pies to compete for bragging rights, community recognition, and the grand prize. Whether your specialty is classic apple, very berry, or rich cream, we want to taste the flavors that make Milton special.

Register for the Pie Baking Contest by June 24th, 2026, at 11:59pm. Then bring your freshly-baked pie to the park stage on July 4th between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM. Entries will be judged--on crust, filling, and presentation--by Jennell from Jennell's Flowers & Pies!

Grab your apron, preheat your oven, and join us for an old-fashioned 4th of July Community Celebration!

Mayor Bruce White has authorized the lowering of flags at the direction of Governor Bob Ferguson.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of lives from the recent industrial tragedy that occurred in Longview, Washington, at the Nippon Dynawave facility. We grieve with the Longview community and the impacted families.

Milton Mayor Bruce White has arranged for flags at City Hall and all city facilities to be lowered to half-staff in their memory on Sunday, May 31, 2026, and remain at half-staff until close of business or sunset on Sunday, June 7, 2026, or first thing Monday morning, June 8, 2026.

We encourage residents and businesses to join in this tribute.
