The Milton Fire Department is 100% Volunteer. Milton Fire Department proudly serves Milton Borough,& West Chillisquaque Township. We currently have approximately 15 active members that currently respond to calls for service, those members run an average of 250-300 calls for service a year. In conjunction to those 15 members we have approximately 25-30 more members that volunteer their time by serv

ing in administrative positions & assisting with our two annual fund raisers. Milton Fire Department also operates a division of EMS that has a paid MICU crew on 24/7 that is staffed by Evangelical Community Hospital EMT's and Paramedics

Thursday June 11, 2026 at 0937 boat 15 was dispatched for a report of an unoccupied boat floating down the river. Crews launched boat 15 from the island and searched from Milton to just north of the 80 bridge and south to the area of the Kepler Farm and found one boat with the occupants enjoy the morning fishing. Mary 2 made contact with an individual in a motorized canoe who was exiting the river not in distress who had been in the water and reported not seeing any boats. Boat 15 returned and placed the box in service.

Saturday June 6, 2026 at 1630 co 15 was dispatched to Broadway St in the area of Rose street for a report of a tree down on wires in the roadway. Crews arrived to find conditions as dispatched with the tree on communication wires. The engine crew assisted the home with clearing the down tree from the roadway and placed the box in service.

Thursday June 4, 2026 at 23:16 tanker 15 along with tankers 2,5 9 and 9-2 was dispatched to assist Lycoming county station 12 with a working fire at the Lycoming County Landfill. Initial crew arrived to a working fire on the working surface.

Monday June 1, 2026 at 10:20 co 15 was dispatched to the area of Mahoning and Arch Streets for a single vehicle MVA. Crews arrived to find one vehicle partially in the roadway and on the sidewalk. Engine 15-2's took care of vehicle hazards.

Friday May 29,2026 at 2055 tower and tanker 15 was requested by Chief 904 to transfer to station 9 until co 9 units returned from the barn fire in Lycoming county. Units returned available at 2250.

Friday May 29,2026 at 2026 tanker 15was dispatched along with tanker 5 and co 9 to the area of Glen and Gerry Brick on the Susquehanna Trail in Delaware Township for a gas odor investigation. Tower 15 was added to the box once it cleared the previous incident due to co 9 units operating on a barn fire in Lycoming county. Units on scene chiefs 1501 and 1502, Tower 15, Tankers 15 and 5, Attack 9-2, Traffic 15 co 15 and 9 Fire police.
