- Beekeeping 101, led by Beekeepers of Santa Rosa County, Milton, Florida
- Livestock/Cattle Management, Escambia Extension

Whether your “homestead” is 20 acres, a suburban backyard, or a few raised beds and some very ambitious plans, we’ve got something for you!

The Santa Rosa County Master Gardeners are bringing together a full lineup of practical, hands-on classes for gardeners, homesteaders, and anyone interested in becoming a little more self-sufficient.

Our expert-led classes include:
- Backyard Chickens 101
- An Introduction to Beekeeping
- Establishing and Managing a Backyard Orchard
- Foodscaping: How to landscape with edible plants
- An Introduction to livestock management

In addition, you will learn from our Master Gardener Volunteers through greenhouse, and various garden tours including vegetable, japanese, and flower gardens, wetscaping, …and plenty more!

Come learn something new, ask questions, meet other local gardeners and homesteaders, and leave with ideas you can actually put to work at home.

Warning: You may leave with plans for three new garden beds, six fruit trees, a chicken coop, and a sudden interest in beekeeping.
