Today, Milton Fire & Rescue pauses to remember the heroes who never made it home. Memorial Day is more than the start of summer; it is a time to honor the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country and our freedom.

Their sacrifice will never be forgotten, and their legacy lives on through the freedoms we enjoy every day. As we spend time with loved ones this weekend, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect, remember, and honor those who paid the ultimate price.

From all of us at Milton Fire & Rescue, thank you to our fallen heroes and the families who continue to carry their memory.

πŸš’πŸ  Help Us Find You Faster in an Emergency πŸ πŸš’

Help us help you!

When every second counts, clearly displaying your address can make all the difference for emergency responders. encourages all residents to make sure their house numbers and mailbox addresses are easy to see from the road β€” day or night.

βœ… Use large, reflective numbers
βœ… Place numbers on both your home and mailbox
βœ… Keep numbers free from bushes, decorations, or snow
βœ… Make sure numbers contrast with the background for visibility
βœ… Verify your address can be seen from both directions of travel

Whether it’s a fire, medical emergency, or severe weather response, visible addresses help firefighters, EMS, and law enforcement locate you quickly and safely.
A few minutes today could save valuable time tomorrow.

πŸš’ Training Never Stops πŸš’

Today, members of Milton Fire & Rescue spent time sharpening their skills during pumper operation training. From mastering pump panel operations to maintaining proper water supply and improving fireground efficiency, our firefighters continue training to stay prepared for any emergency.

Regular hands-on training ensures our crews can operate safely, effectively, and efficiently when seconds matter most. We are proud of the dedication our members show in constantly improving their knowledge and skills to better serve the community.

Thank you to all of our firefighters who continue putting in the time and effort to train hard and stay ready.
