Last year I had a conversation with Ulster County Highways to see if they could help us out at this terrible intersection at Bingham and Lattintown Road. Hopefully this will slow down some of the traffic. Thank you again Ulster County Highway department.

🚨 WINTER SAFETY NOTICE 🚨

Did you know that blowing, plowing, shoveling, or stockpiling snow into a public roadway is illegal and dangerous?

New York State Vehicle & Traffic Law §1219 prohibits placing any substance on a public road that may endanger people, animals, or vehicles — including snow from driveways and sidewalks. Snow in the roadway creates hazardous driving conditions and slows municipal snow removal operations.

Please keep snow on your property and out of the street and highway right-of-way. Violations may result in enforcement action.

Working together helps keep the Town of Marlborough roads safe for our neighbors, visitors, and emergency responders. 🚔

Thank you and stay safe,

John Alonge Sr.
Town of Marlborough Highway Superintendent
