Republican Women of Milton-Freewater

Republican Women of Milton-Freewater We meet the 4th Thursday of every month at 12:00 noon, in meeting room "A" of the Community Building The benefit?

Our nation and the world face many challenges as we rapidly move forward and today's leaders will determine tomorrow's problems (or lack thereof). When you join a Republican Women's Club you become a member of over 115,000 women who comprise the National Federation with the state organizations and local clubs. The NFRW is the largest women's political organization in the world. Although candidates

come and go, the NFRW remains active in the political process on a continuous basis. The aim of the Oregon Federation of Republican Women is to help women become involved in that political process. Our objectives are:
* To promote an informed public through political education and activity
* To increase the effectiveness of women in the National and State Governments
* To facilitate cooperation among the National and State Federation of Republican Women and local clubs
* To foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its principles and ideals
* To support objectives and policies of the Republican National Committee, the State Central Committees, County Central Committees and to work for the election of Republican Party nominees. By joining a local club, you also become a member of both the State and National Federations. You have the opportunity to become more informed and you in turn can become a more positive influence for the Republican Party. Party politics is where one person can make a difference. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE- in your community, in your state AND in your nation.....

Disreputable yellow journalism by KATU implying that it was Tina Kotek who asked the legislature to refer to voters the $4.3 billion tax she personally bulldozed through the legislature (including holding a prolonged special session open at taxpayers' expense until she could get a dying legislator to come to the floor so she had enough votes to pass it.):

"When Gov. Tina Kotek asked lawmakers in January to refer the measure to voters, the average price for regular gasoline in Oregon was below $3.50 per gallon."

The only thing Tina Kotek asked of legislators is that the wildly unpopular transportation tax referendum NOT appear on the same ballot as she will appear in November.

Let's defeat both of them!
Vote NO on Measure 120 before May 19, and vote for the Republican nominee to defeat Tina Kotek in November.
