At this time we are no longer allowing camp fires at Harris Park. Propane fire pits and BBQ's are still allowed.
Thank you for your understanding!

The Umatilla National Forest officials will implement Phase B Public Use Restrictions on Tuesday, July 16, due to high fire danger, the potential for human-caused fires, and concern for public safety. The increased restrictions pertain to the use of campfires, smoking, chainsaws, internal combustion engines, and generators.

Beginning July 16, 2024, campfires will ONLY be allowed in designated campgrounds and recreation sites. Liquefied or bottled gas stoves and heaters are allowed for cooking and heating.

A list of designated recreation sites is available on the forest website at https://www.fs.usda.gov/umatilla/ or on our blog at https://bluemountainfireinfo.blogspot.com/
