Look ahead at our summer lunch menu for June🍕

All children ages 1 through 18 are eligible to receive free meals during May 27th – July 24th at Rushville Consolidated High School Cafeteria Door 25 Monday – Friday, 11:00 A.M – 12:30 P.M (closed the 4th of July) Individuals ages 19 through 21 who have been identified as having mental or physical disabilities and are following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) through their current enrollment in educational programs also are eligible for free summer meals!

6th grade ended their awards day with a trip to where they enjoyed Cosmic Glow bowling, pizza, and games to celebrate their hard work, friendships, and all they accomplished during their time at Milroy Elementary.

We will miss this amazing group of students, but we know they are going to do incredible things as they begin the next chapter of their academic journey. We are so proud of each and every one of them!

As part of our Unified Champions celebration, students were encouraged to wear their favorite superhero shirts to show how they can be superheroes through kindness, inclusion, and helping others feel welcome.

In true superhero fashion, Batman even made a special visit to MES! He spread kindness by helping set up chairs for the Spring Concert and serving our students throughout the day. Thank you, Batman, for reminding us that even small acts of kindness can make a BIG difference!

Congratulations to Tucker, the winner of our “Ride to School with Our SRO” fundraiser drawing! This morning, Tucker got the VIP experience of riding to school alongside Officer Bridges. Thank you to everyone who participated in the fundraiser and helped support our school. We hope Tucker enjoyed his special ride to school!

Our Spring Concert was absolutely fantastic! The students did an amazing job singing and performing, and we are so proud of the confidence and effort they showed on stage. A huge shout-out goes to Miss Banks for the countless hours of preparation and hard work she put into making the concert such a success.
