Employees of TRAS have been asked about the $0 listed for Ambulance in the Brownville Public Safety Budget. To clarify, the ambulance service is not being defunded, and we will continue providing 911 service to the town.

Last year, additional funds were allocated to cover a backup ambulance service, as needed, under their contract. Because there are still sufficient funds remaining in that account, no additional money needed to be added to that budget line this year.

There is no need for concern—we are still here and committed to serving the community. We appreciate everyone’s support and concern.

Wednesday night we were invited to attend the Milo Brownville Kiwanis meeting. There we were presented with a $1000 donation from the club. We are very thankful they thought of us. We are excited to put this towards updating some equipment.

Happy EMS Week.
I want to thank all of the members of Three Rivers Ambulance who give their time to serve their community in time of need. We have collectively over 150 years of experience. 6 staff members alone have with 10+ years, and one with 32 years of experience.
I'm am very proud of the team we have and their caring nature for both the towns people and their crew mates.

NOAA said it was going to be a blustery day, and it's proving to be so. For those of you traveling to services or visiting family please be aware we have quite a few trees down in the area with some roads being closed. Please use caution while driving.

There is a proposal from the state about having a 6% tax on all revenue collected by services. The taxes they are collecting are to be put back into reimbursement to the services. However only non municipal ambulances services are paying this, so only 40 services will be paying this and more than 200 services will split the collected reimbursement....

We are all in need. If you love chaos, a job that is the same and different all at the same time and want to work a group of people who's cheese is probably not all on their cracker then this class is for you.
But in all seriousness, we are in need, this job opens a door to many opportunities, you get patient care exposure, and you do get to work with a lot of great people. I personally find it very rewarding to be able to provide emergency care to my community. So think about it, but don't think too long.

NOAA states this is not going to be a nice snow fall. We will have some decent accumulation of wet snow. Travel is not recommended the rest of the evening. Travel is VERY slow going and have already heard of a few minor slid off the road incidents. Please use caution if you are heading home from your holiday visits so we can stay home too.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Very shortly it'll be the bewitching hour and little ghouls and goblins will be looking for their evening treats. Please make sure you use safety when driving and go slow with your lights on as this may be their first time using a broom and will suddenly pop out of nowhere. Reminder to accompanying adults to make sure your ghouls and goblins are illuminated in some form of fashion. Have a safe and spooky evening.
