🚧 Road Work Notice – Atlanta Street

The Lamar County Board of Commissioners has contracted Blount Construction for road reconstruction work on Atlanta Street below the Hot Spot Food Mart and Aurora Mexican Restaurant to Hwy 341.

📅 Start Date: April 20th
🚧 Detour Location: Atlanta Street at Grove Street and Louis Drive

Please be prepared for possible delays in your morning commute. We look forward to making this intersection safer and more efficient for everyone!

On behalf of the City of Milner and the Milner Police Department we would like to say thank you to Lamar Gives 365 (Barnesville/ Lamar County Community Foundation), Gordon College, Chief Charles Head and the Gordon State College Police Department! We received a grant of $2,500.00 and AEDs that will help us achieve our goal of saving lives. We will be equipping our officers and two locations with AEDs. THANK YOU!!
