Yarbo VFD Live Alarm Feed
Yarbo VFD responded to POWER LINE DOWN AND TREE IN ROADWAY on AL 17 north of Millry, on September 2, 2026 at 03:49AM.
Yarbo responded with Command to assist Millry Fire Rescue Department while they were on another call. The power line was still energized and the tree was in the roadway. Thanks to Clarke Washington EMC the tree was removed, roadway opened, and power was restored.

Yarbo responded with Mini Pumper, Engine 1, and 2 firefighters. With assistance from Laton Hill VFD and Chatom VFD the fire was contained before reaching structures.

Every in Alabama is built on dedicated volunteers who choose to give back and make a difference in their community. Your journey begins by joining the volunteer fire department in your community to make a difference. Volunteers are needed not only to fight fire, but medical calls, assist with incident scenes by managing traffic, pump operators, support personnel, fundraising and other logistical support.
