The mission of the Millis Police Department is to consistently find ways to promote, preserve, and deliver a sense of security, safety and quality of life to the people of Millis. To fulfill our mission, we are committed to:

Now Hiring: Lateral Transfer Patrol Officer 👮‍♂️

The Millis Police Department is seeking qualified, motivated, and community-oriented lateral transfer candidates to join our team as a Patrol Officer.

This role involves proactive patrol operations, emergency response, investigations, traffic enforcement, and community policing efforts while working collaboratively to support public safety and strong community relationships.

This morning, Millis Police officers collaborated with the Millis Public School Transportation Department to monitor and enforce traffic violations. Officers were present on the buses and also followed them.

This enforcement initiative is driven by reports of drivers disregarding school bus stop regulations, with the primary goal of enhancing student safety. We are pleased to report that there were no violations.
