Congratulations and thank you to Director Lavoie, the Penobscot Regional Communications Center, and Radio Communications Management for the successful completion of the Penobscot County Radio Project.

Today, the Millinocket Fire Department, along with many other public safety agencies, transitioned to a new radio tower and channel as part of this critical project.

This upgrade will significantly improve radio and tower coverage throughout our area and enhance responder safety by providing more reliable communications.

Thank you to everyone involved for their hard work, dedication, and commitment in making this important project a success.

Hello All,

We have recieved a few phone calls and messages about this event. This is not your normal yard sale. This is a event to come and pick up safety items for free and sign up for co/smoke alarm installs.

We are just taking the yard sale approach to it, and will have a table and tent infront of the station for these items.

Look forward to seeing you all on May 6th.

Hello All,

We have transitioned to a new phone system, and calling the fire station will be slightly different than before.

When calling 207-723-7026, you will hear the following options:

Press 1 for Fire & Ambulance General (general business inquiries)

Press 2 for the Fire Chief

You may also press 1 and request to be transferred to the Fire Chief if needed.

If no one is available to answer your call, the phone will continue to ring, and after a set amount of time, it will automatically transfer to the Penobscot Regional Communications Center.

If you have an emergency, please call 911 rather than the non-emergency number.

Thank you,

Millinocket Fire Dept
