🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET — SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders and everyday Americans who stepped forward in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We continue to pray for the families who lost loved ones that day and for all those whose lives were forever changed.

May we also remember the unity, compassion, and strength our nation showed in the days that followed.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

The Millington Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to have Executive Director Chris Thomas representing Millington and North Shelby County as a member of Mayor Mickell Lowery’s Transition Team, serving on the Economic Development Committee.

Mayor Lowery joined the committee today and shared his vision for Shelby County, including his commitment to an inclusive approach that brings Memphis and our suburban municipalities together as partners in the future growth of our county.

The committee, chaired by Cato Johnson, is discussing opportunities to strengthen economic development, attract investment, support our workforce and encourage growth throughout Shelby County.

As Millington and North Shelby County continue to experience exciting growth and investment, it is important that our area has a voice in countywide economic development conversations.

We appreciate Mayor Lowery’s commitment to bringing communities from across Shelby County to the table and look forward to working together to create opportunities throughout our entire region.

a proud Millington Chamber member, is looking for a motivated Catering & Events Manager to join their team!

They are looking for someone who is outgoing, organized and comfortable getting out into the community to help grow catering and event business and build relationships throughout our area.

Responsibilities include generating new catering business, booking parties and events, developing relationships with local businesses, schools, sports teams, churches, HOAs and organizations, following up with event inquiries, coordinating event details with the restaurant team, and helping promote catering and private events.

Compensation: Hourly/base pay plus commission on new catering and event business personally generated, with additional bonus opportunities for reaching sales goals.

Weekend and holiday availability and dependable transportation are required.
