Third Thursday Meeting at Olympic Steak and Pizza

JJ Stewart and Mike Fingeroth of Recreational Concepts presented the playground and shade equipment offered by their company.

JJ is a project manager and had many ideas from different playgrounds constructed in TN and Alabama.

The Steve Broome Golf Tournament is scheduled for September 18.

May First Thursday Meeting at First Methodist Church

Long time member Bob Hunt passed away and we are seeking a way to memorialize him. One idea is to place a plaque on one of the Kiwanis benches or at Kiwanis park.

The Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast generated $6000 for future projects. Future projects are Goat Days kid zone and golf tournament.

Currently, the club is awarding four $1000 college scholarships to four outstanding high school students at three area high schools.

Third Thursday Millington Kiwanis Meeting at Olympic Steak and Pizza.

Judy Peery from Abandoned Antiques spoke about her business and its new developments.

Abandoned Antiques will be sponsoring a Field of Honor along with the traveling Vietnam Memorial.

The Millington Kiwanis agreed to sponsor a flag in the Field of Honor.

Oscar Brown gave updates on members.
