“But sound aloud the praises, and give the victor-crown to our noble-hearted Firemen, who fear not danger’s frown.” — Frederic G.W. Fenn

Firefighter is not a title given it is a title earned. It comes with many years of blood, sweat, tears, heartache, joy, and laughter. It is hard to put into words the amount of grit and patience that goes into becoming a Firefighter.

May 4th every year is kept in observance as International Firefighter Day. Today we honor those that put their uniform on this morning and head into shift as well as those that have made the ultimate sacrifice along the way. We extend our gratitude not only to our wonderful group of Firefighters but to anyone that has ever had the privilege of being called a Firefighter! You all show what it means to be a light in the darkness and deserve all of the praise today and everyday!
