Approximately 30 minutes ago Millersport High School administration and I were notified of an overheard statement from a student. The part that was heard stated "I have a gun in my car and nobody cares about that." I immediately located the student and spoke with them. The student was referring to a water gun as part of the senior tag. The student allowed me to search their vehicle and I confirmed there were no weapons in their vehicle beyond a new super soaker that was still in its box. School policy addresses the senior tag and states that no activities are permitted on school grounds. Senior tag is starting up but please do not hesitate to call if you see anything and allow us to verify that it is just tag. If you have any questions please contact us at 740-929-6105.
