Let’s all do our part to keep sewage lines from becoming clogged in our lovely town.

Kentucky American Water has provided us with the following tips.

TIPS FOR HOMEOWNERS

-Never pour grease into sinks, toilets or down drains.

-Allow the grease to cool and use a rubber scraper to remove the fat, oil and grease from cookware,
plates, utensils and cooking surfaces. Then place the grease in a sealed container and dispose of it in
the trash.

-Install baskets/strainers in sink drains to catch food scraps and empty them into the trash.

-Please keep in mind, garbage disposals do not prevent grease from washing down the drain. Also,
detergents that claim to dissolve grease may pass it down the line and cause problems in other parts of
the wastewater system.

-Share this information with your friends and neighbors.

BIG announcement.

And this is one you’ll want to make plans for.

Millersburg, KY is getting the kind of sound you usually have to drive farther for.

The Millersburg Main Street Initiative is bringing Kindred Valley to town as the headliner for Concert on the Square on Friday, July 17!

The harmonies are unreal, the songs are lived-in, and there’s a warmth to their sound that feels familiar even the first time you hear them. It’s honest, full of life, and carries the kind of energy that turns a regular summer night into something people remember.

We’re about a month out, so go check them out, hear what we’re talking about, and go ahead and plan to be in Millersburg.

More details are coming soon, but this one is going to be special.

The City would like to thank the American Legion for reaching out with concerns about children riding bicycles and playing near their location.

Any time a citizen, business, or organization raises a concern about child safety, we take that seriously. Our children deserve to be safe on every street in Millersburg.

In response, the City will be asking for increased police presence and traffic observation in that area, especially during times when pedestrian and bicycle activity may be higher. We also encourage all drivers to use caution, slow down, and remain alert anywhere children may be present.

We appreciate the American Legion bringing this safety concern forward and look forward to working together as a community to protect our children.
